Van Vihar National Park

Located at the heart of Bhopal is the Van vihar national park. It is managed as a modern zoological park where animals are kept in their natural habitat.

Birla Museum

The Birla Museum in Bhopal is home to some very old and interesting sculptures. The Siva gallery has two 10th century sculptures from Ashapuri.

Bhojpur Temple

Known as Somnath of the East, Bhojpur Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located on the banks of the Vetraveti River in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh.

Upper Lake

The oldest manmade lake in the country, it is known as Bada Talaab or the big lake. The Lake is constructed on the Kolas River.
